About Dr. Edwin Ramirez, MD, Board-Certified OB-GYN

Dr. Edwin Ramirez, MD is a board-certified Diplomate in the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is a pioneer of uterine transplantation, and his work will aid patients who suffer from reproductive problems in the future. After 11 years of research, he and his surgical team announced the publication of "The World's First Successful Live Birth in a Uterine Allotransplant in the Sheep Model." He has served as a guest speaker at several national and international conferences around the world, including Colombia, Iran, Iraq, India, Italy, Spain, Sweden, South Africa, Egypt, France, China, Russia, El Salvador and Brazil.
